Ayema Projects has the expertise to offer a complete engineering service to both government and private sector, focusing more Government Infrastructure Projects in South Africa. These services range from the initial consultation, planning and design, ongoing supervision and commissioning of the overall engineering projects.

INTRODUCTION

Ayema Projects commenced business in 2016 the focus of company was shifted to comprehensive engineering services. The company is relatively new on the market but its members have experience in the design and project management of infrastructure projects for a variety of clients, which include Municipalities and private individuals.

Business development ensures that Ayema Projects is proactive and consistent in delivering value to its customers. It is a systematic approach designed to improve the retention of key customers as well as unlocking new business.

Developing a strategy focusing on the customer’s agenda

To determine how we can deliver value to our customers, we need to understand the customer’s business and its agenda, i.e. what issues are important and how can we contribute to resolving these. A facilitated high impact meeting, in which we discuss the customer’s current /future state and the factors necessary to achieve their goals, provides the appropriate vehicle for reviewing the customer’s agenda. With a clearly defined mission, goals and objectives we aim to achieve a structured communication approach.

Building relationships

Working in partnership and focusing on the value chain,
(people and technology) mutual trust is created. Broadening and deepening longer-term relationships with our customers is integral to managing and growing an account.

Opportunity management

Our focus on our customer’s agenda will enable us to identify issues and implications, potential solutions and sales opportunities that contribute to the customer’s business. It is crucial that these opportunities are managed effectively: prioritising them according to their value to the customer and to ourselves in terms of achieving our account objectives and revenue goals.

Measuring account performance and customer satisfaction

An essential part of managing an account and developing action plans is measuring the performance of the Ayema Projects team from the customer’s perspective. Integrity and responsibility is imbedded in these measurements and is part of our packaged offering to the customer.
